Make My 45 The P Funk / Jazz Crime

This first release featuring Dj Katch, Toby Gee and Abstract Rude is an original homage to collecting and spinning 45s and is a call to arms to join The Forty Five Kings Collective and support the work we do in pushing and sustaining this format and section of Dj culture.

Side AA is an exclusive for our label due to this being the very first time The Resin Dogs classic album cut ‘Jazz Crime’ from their album Grand Theft Auto from 2000 finds itself on beautiful black 7″ wax with this exclusive edit by Deejay Katch.

A. Make My 45 The P Funk: Deejay Katch FT. Abstract Rude with Cuts by Deejay Toby Gee

This first release featuring Dj Katch, Toby Gee and Abstract Rude on Side A is an original homage to collecting and spinning 45s and is a call to arms to join The Forty Five Kings Collective and support the work we do in pushing and sustaining this format and section of Dj culture.

It’s a classic old school funky break that harks back to the Golden Era of Hip Hop with incredible wordplay by the LA legend, Abstract Rude with tight cuts by Deejay Toby Gee and that oh so killer Deejay Katch production with drums to die for!

This is one hell of a party track with an original rap by Abstract Rude and should get the dance floor popping and locking immediately.

AA. Jazz Crimes (7″ Edit by Deejay Katch): Produced by The Resin Dogs / Jeff Lovejoy / Robert Reed (Trouble Funk)

Exclusively for our label and for the very first time on 45, The Resin Dogs classic album cut ‘Jazz Crime’ from their classic album Grand Theft Auto from 2000 finds itself on beautiful black 7″ wax!!

This version has been re-edited by Deejay Katch from the Resin Dogs for this exclusive release on 7″ and retains the best bits and is a pure slice of jazzy hip hop instrumental goodness.

So there you have it, 2 outstanding tracks on our new label, one for the breakers, dancers, jugglers and djs and the other for the head nodders.

Don’t wait, hesitate or take time to gestate, just grab a copy or 2 right now mates!
