The Forty Five Kings Present our 100th and Final Member Mix in this incredible series. What better way to end this amazing series than where it began, with Jimmy Mac!
Jimmy has this to say about his mix:
‘A few years ago I put my hand up to do the very first Forty Five Kings mix and it’s an honour to be trusted to present mix 100, in what has been a glorious series of creative DJ’s sharing their love of 45s.
The original concept I had was to do a mix from all the 45 box sets I have collected over the years but there were just so many records it could have been a series by itself!
What I was feeling though, were some of the Trojan box sets I have and from that vibe the idea formed very quickly to do a more Dub and Reggae orientated set with a heavy slab of echo thrown in for good measure.
