What an amazing Lineup, Event, Experience, Music and Show of Skills, Passion, Dance Moves and incredibly good 45s collections.
We here at the Forty Five Kings Collective are still riding on such a high from this incredible 13 hour session that celebrated 2 years since our founding by Mr Lob & Fatwax45 and 1 year since 25ThC & Mr Lob set up and started streaming on our Twitch Channel!
There were so many highlights from the legend Dj Andy Smith absolutely smashing a set of doubles with skill, energy and sheer talent and love of the art form of Djing, to The Forty Five Queens Dj Honey & Fraulein Freakbeat, dancing while spinning timeless R&B, Jazz and 60s Pop, to Fonki Cheff’s Tropical party vibes and the sheer beauty of Dj Chvare’s mixing and selections to Dj D & Dj Mathmatics absolutely tearing it up with juggles, cuts and sheer funkiness to D-Cow’s opening funky bevy of 45s and use of technology for his scene.
Chrispop played a killer set of pure funk delights with seamless flows and groove, Tom Showtime finally got to step up and showed us why we have waited so long with a set of Easy Now Reggae Mashups combined with Latin treats. Mr Lob did his funky thing and drew our Raffle.
Fatwax45 took us from 60’s pop through 60’s Rock and finished on Hip Hop!
25ThC closed out the show with a fantastic opening monologue and an eclectic set of 45 treats.
We managed to capture some of the sets for posterity and we thank all those who tuned in and supported and got to experience this amazing event which we are very proud of!
The chat was full of fantastic people and comments and the love for what was happening was palpable.
