So who are we? The Forty Five Kings are a collective of Djs, Record Labels, Record Collectors and Record Resellers whose mission is to spread the word about the greatest music format in the world, the 45!
Started 12 months ago on Facebook by Mr Lob from Australia with Marky Newby from the UK, the idea is to share our deep love of 45s culture.
In the last 12 months we have grown to over 600 Members on Facebook, released over 40 strictly 45s mixtapes to our Mixcloud, iTunes and Spotify pages and hosted numerous Live Stream Events featuring Djs from all around the world on our twitch.tv/fortyfivekings page. We have a weekly Saturday Live Stream Show hosted by Dj Mr Lob, 25THC and Fatwax45 called ‘Coffee & Donuts’ on Twitch and monthly extended Live Streams that are well worth checking out and following our Twitch page for.
We also release a weekly all 45s Mix to our Mixcloud and Podcast pages featuring a Guest Member each week.
We are also launching our site with 4 great Interviews from Pete Isaac of 45 Live, 25ThC from 45 Day and the Original Fortyfivers, Fatwax45 our Co-founder and Rebecca Vasmant, a wonderful Dj and Radio Show Host from Glasgow, Scotland.
We are also launching with 2 Feature Stories from Dj Obliveus and Dj Bacon, well worth a read!
We aim to keep bringing you great content so please sign up for our new Newsletter which you will receive weekly that will have links to our latest Interviews, Features, Mix and Live Stream Videos.
